The trip to Mindanao is only 6 days away! We have mapped out an itinerary and our work is coming into focus.
April 30th-May 3nd – We will travel to Manila to meet up with HNI leader Dan and Kim Dovidio and acclimate to the country, then to Oroquieta City and get to know our hosts (Pastor Nathan and family).
May 4th – Nielson and I will each preach in at least one, possibly two HarvestNET churches near Oroquieta City.
May 5th-7th – We will have meetings with pastors and share at services in 6-7 HarvestNET churches in 4 cities throughout Mindanao. We will also meet with students in several Joshua Nations training classes. I suspect we will be spending quite a bit of time in a van!
May 8th-9th – We will travel from Ozamiz City to Redding, CA
May 10th-11th – We visit Bethel School graduation and Bethel Church
May 12th – We will arrive home!
I appreciate your prayer for:
1) Preparation of messages. I have completed one message on “Living Life with Purpose” and am working on finishing one on sanctification and another on the power of the blood of Jesus.
2) Wisdom to understand the culture and ask the right questions to help them build a healthy ministry.
3) Funds to pay for both the Philippines and London trips…$1950 provide so far! My remaining need is $2,550. Click here if you would like to help.
